Super Night Vision

Capturing details in ultra-low light environment and even in the dark road at night is something very important. Utilizing one OmniVision and two Sony Starvis CMOS sensors, the S2 captures night time driving with sharp details and makes license plate reading in low light environment a breeze.

HDR

The S2’s rear camera powers with HDR. When driving at night time and in low light levels, HDR can significantly improve image clarity. It will record multiple exposure levels for each frame and conduct tone mapping to ensure the optimum footage is recorded, so the image recorded won’t be messed by the full-beam headlights of the car behind you.

4 IR lights

The S2 utilizes 4 infrared LED lights around the cabin camera, which automatically works once it detects low light in car cabin and presents clear black & white image recordings. This also makes it a perfect dash cam solution for rideshare, Uber, Lyft, or commercial fleet drivers.

3” IPS Touch Screen

All operations interface can be easily navigated by swiping your fingers with touchscreen. It is easier to enter the multi-function menu and set up the camera.

WiFi Connect & APP Control

Use the Vanture App to view and manage dash cam recordings instantly on your iOS and Android devices. By using the app you can download & view videos directly on your smartphone, edit the video and then easily share these on social media with friends and family.

24 Hours Parking Mode

Four parking-detection modes guard your car 24/7 while parking. Note: The dash cam should be hardwired to use the parking mode, and the hardwire kit is sold separately.

Motion Detection

The dash cam will be on standby mode and wake up to record video once it detects any movement in front and back of the parked car.

Collision Detection

This parking mode records video when an impact occurs on parked car.

Low Bitrate Recording

The dash cam will enter parking mode if it doesn't detect any movement in 5 mins and will keep recording at 720P 15FPS. The length of each clips will be the same with loop recording setting.

Low Frame Rate Recording

This parking mode allows your dashcam to continuously record at 1FPS (one frame per second). Videos are played back at 30FPS. Each 1-minute Low Frame Rate Parking Mode video covers a real-time period of 30 minutes. Please note: camera won’t record sound in this mode.

GPS Recording and Tracking

With the built-in GPS module, the S2 can record your driving route and speed. You can track your route when playing back videos on your phone or computer.

Hidden Installation Design

The S2’s low-profile design won’t obstruct driver’s view but also makes the dash cam to be somewhat hidden and less likely to be seen from the outside, which greatly reduce chances of being stolen.

Extreme Temp Protection

Instead of lithium batteries, the S2 is powered through a supercapacitor, which allows the camera to withstand the most frigid cold and intense heat. It is much safer and has longer lifespan than battery charged dash cams.
