Bad quality and bad customer service. I got the N4 and had issue all of the sudden in the front of the camera getting fried on the sun.

May I know what's your setting for the parking mode? Only when you set the parking mode at collision detection the cam will turn off when park. Thank you.

I know how it works, I'm just saying default parking mode option after an update was set to permanently continious recording long hours with no low bitrate, till shut off by hardware kit Sounds like hard work for a dashcam, and the amazon review tells about fried Vantrue, so sounds like overheating. Not every parking mode is suitable for hot weather.

After the firmware is updated, the dash cam will go back to factory settings, we recommend that you reset it according to your needs.

Electronic products may have more or less problems when they work continuously for a long time in a high temperature environment. It is not that the parking mode cannot be used in high temperature environment, we just recommend to use the collision detection mode to protect the cam and work better. Thank you very much.

I "had" N4 also. The front camera shutter stopped working. Service teams asked all kind of test, videos etc of the problem, and at the end "Sorry for the inconvenience", no fix, no replacement, not even discount to buy a new one! Sucks!
