E1 and android phone. I'm trying to use the app at home to adjust settings. The camera keeps disconnecting and starts recording. Has been updated to recent firmware. Tried changing WIFI setting on phone changing auto connect to off. Doesn't change the problem. Thanks for any help.

Hi and thank you, the camera is right next to the phone. In 'About app' the Vantrue app says software version v 2.1.19, and under 'player' software decoder is checked. The firmware is as you stated. E1_ECA063. Only one phone has ever been connected. I've chosen 'forget wifi' in the phone to stop it from trying to connect to our home wifi network. The wifi icon on the camera remains on. Going through the app, it keeps reading 'connecting' 'authenticating' and the link icon shows a connection then it shows a disconnected icon. On the phone in the app the page where it shows an image of the camera and the password and an orange box with a check mark. With the correct password there and selecting the check mark, it processes then says connect failed.
Hi Paklava, does the cam close to the phone when you use the app? Which app did you use and what's the version? Is your cam firmware version E1_VT-ECA063? Thanks.
